During Your Stay

VISITING HOURS Open visitation. With Patient care as a primary concern certain restrictions and limitation to visitors may

be necessary. n When visitation may interfere with or hinder the care or treatment of patients;

n The potential for exposure to infectious or hazardous materials place the patient or visitor at risk;

n There are existing court orders restricting contact of which the hospital is aware;

n There is disruptive, threatening, or violent behavior endangering the patient or hospital staff or,

n Rest or privacy is needed to support the health of the patient.

If you have a question about the visitation policies or number of visitors permitted, please ask a nurse. Children under the age of 18 should be supervised at all times and may have limited access to areas within the hospital.
