Corporation approved a $67 million expansion investment in Sierra Providence East Medical Center that will further the hospital’s mission to provide high-quality care to East El Paso. Te 145,000-square- foot tower expansion now is complete. Te four-story building provides an additional 60 patient rooms, which has allowed us to expand services for our growing community. 38-bed Emergency Department now is open. Te expanded ED provides additional treatment space to accommodate the nearly 60,000 patients who visit one of the busiest emergency departments in El Paso. We are proud to offer expanded capabilities
in two clinics that have relocated to the Medical Office Building (MOB) adjacent to the hospital. Our expanded, spacious, eight-chair Outpatient Infusion Clinic is now located on the first floor of the MOB in Suite 180. Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Center has also moved to Suite 140 in the MOB and offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
