We made our way to the Met Bar, fresh from a major renovation, where we discovered an innovative cocktail menu. T e space is perfect for relaxed networking events and off ers a gorgeous afternoon tea for those seeking some time out in the city. T e glossy black lava-stone bar top and leather clad bar front are really sleek new additions to this famous bar. For those wanting to dine at the Metropolitan, the Michelin starred Nobu restaurant on the fi rst fl oor is an unmissable experience. Executive Chef Mark Edwards heads up this exciting kitchen, which serves an original mix of Peruvian-Japanese cuisine. Specialities include black cod with miso, sashimi salad with Matsuhisa soy sauce dressing and squid ‘pasta’ with light garlic sauce. In addition, the kitchen focuses on healthful COMO Shambhala cuisine, which uses raw organic foods and avoids dairy.
