Can you name any artists who you really vibe with and have inspired any of the musical creations you have made?

Honestly, I can’t say there is any music that doesn’t inspire me. Everything, every single thing inspires me to create music. I will walk into Walmart to go shopping and they will have weird Spanish music playing in the background. I will listen to it and if I think it is sick, I will find a way to use it. All music is welcome!

Seeing that your knowledge of dance music is so vast, how do you feel about the overall evolution of the scene? It has gained so much mainstreampopularity over the last few years, especially in the United States. You’ve watched it grow exponentially, what has that been like for you?

I feel like it is the same as Mozart. Everyone recognized his music 400 years after he died. His music was incredible. You know what? Some of the electronic music out right now is incredible and it will be remembered 400 years from now. That’s how I feel man. It is what it is man; good music will survive.

Transitioning into world travel. You have gotten to play in venues all around the world. Do you see any difference from venue to venue? Is there any geographical area that you feel goes harder than the rest?

I feel like the crowd is incredible everywhere I go. The people of the world are thirsting for a good time and good music. The only thing that is different from show to show is production and how the club treats music. I played a show once where the club didn’t have subwoofers. How can you book a bass heavy artist and not have any subwoofers in the venue? Are you kidding me!?

If you have to chose an ideal stage for a Borgore set, would you chose something similar to EDC Vegas’ main stage or something smaller and more intimate?

I really depends. If it were a small venue with an amazing sound system, full of hardcore Borgore fans, I would rather play there. I would rather play in front of 50 of my biggest fans than 10,000 that don’t really love me. It is all about the people who really respect what I’m doing. I respect my fans to death man. My whole career, my whole existence is based around my fans. I will do anything for my fans because I

know that they would do anything for me. The feelings towards each other are mutual. Like I said guys, I will play in front of 50 of my biggest fans over 50,000 people any day.

Respect. To close out this great conversation, do you have any upcoming projects or shows that you want your fans to know about?

I have two really big shows in LA coming up that I am really excited about. Other than that, I am not sure if I am allowed to talk about some of the other stuff. You know how it is man!
