The car comes with an injection-molded body and un- derframe with etched brass roofwalk, brake platform and end platforms. It rides on BLMA ASF 70-ton Ride Con- trol trucks with low profile wheelsets. Variations include the as-built body, transitional body and modern version with no roofwalk, and Hydra-Cushion underframe. A line of passenger car kits with etched brass sides is being re- leased. They will have detailed etched and plated brass sides with the Ameri- can Limited passenger car core kit with roof, floor, ends, operating di- aphragms and underbody details in- cluded, plus Micro-Trains standard couplers, metal weights and decals. The ready-to-run cars feature operating knuckle couplers. Road names are Louisville & Nashville, single car and two pack; Cotton Belt, two single cars; Southern Pacific, two single cars; Texas & Pacif- ic single and two packs; Chicago & Eastern Illinois, two single cars; and Canadian Pacific, two single cars. These cars cost $29.95 for single cars, two packs for $59.70. A limited number of transfer cabooses are still in stock. They are ready-to-run and come in multiple numbers for these road names: New York Central, Chicago Great Western, Rock Island, Penn Central, M-K-T, Southern, Rio Grande, Detroit & Toledo Shore Line, Monon, Illinois Central Gulf, and Norfolk & Western. They come with directional lighting, painted safety rails, blackened metal wheels, Accu- Mate knuckle couplers, scale speed motor, golden-white LED’s, and either decoder equipped (Lenz) or non-de- coder equipped versions. In multiple numbers for the Dash 8-40B, road names are undecorated, Arizona East- ern, BC Rail, CSX and Seminole Gulf. For the Dash 8-40BW there are Provi- dence & Worcester, BNSF, Santa Fe, undecorated and Amtrak “Pepsi can.” The standard units are priced at $129.95 and decoder-equipped models are $169.95. A recent N scale rolling stock offering is the ACF 23,500-gallon tank car. These non-pressurized tank cars come with separately molded brake lines, ultra-thin handrails, tank fittings and safety placards, 100-ton roller bearing trucks, brake wheel chain detail and more. In multiple numbers, road names are Ennar La- tex, Exxon Invista, J&J Railcar Leas- ing and Southern Rail Associates. The undecorated cars are priced at $19.95 and decorated cars are $24.95.
