Riding a camel is just as memorable as seeing Petra for the first time...

8. IN THE VALLEYS OF THE KINGS & QUEENS Disembark Nile Adventurer in Luxor. Head to the Valley of the Kings to enter the tombs of King Tut and others, then to the Valley of the Queens and Medinet Habu. Sail aboard a traditional felucca at sunset; dine at your choice of restaurants at the hotel. Meals BLD

9. FLY TO JORDAN FOR A WADI RUM EXCURSION Take a private charter flight to Aqaba, Jordan, for lunch overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba and an excursion to Wadi Rum; exploring its lunar- like dunes and cliffs by four-wheel-drive vehicle is an unforgettable experience! Journey through the desert to iconic Petra. Meals BLD

10. AMAZING PETRA & A BEDOUIN RESTORATION A passage through a narrow canyon, the Siq, leads to yet another breathtaking moment – your first glimpse of the ancient Nabataean city of Petra, carved out of the sandstone cliffs around 6 BC. Explore the site on foot and via horse cart, including the towering Khazneh (Treasury), the Royal Tombs, an amphitheatre that once seated 8,000, and numerous temples and tombs. Dinner at Sun City, a unique rooftop venue styled after a traditional Bedouin tent, features entertainment by local musicians and sword dancers! Meals BLD

11. ALONG THE JORDAN TO THE DEAD SEA Thousands of years of biblical history reveal themselves along the Kings’ Highway at sites on the east bank of the River Jordan including Mt. Nebo and a church dedicated to Moses. Try traditional Jordanian foods for lunch; visit St. George’s Church to view a mosaic map of biblical sites en route to your Dead Sea spa resort. Meals BLD

12. RESORT RELAXATION OR A JERASH EXCURSION Spend a relaxing day at your resort or set off on an excursion to Jerash, site of one of the best-preserved ancient Roman cities in the Middle East. Wander among its fine temples, squares, arches, theatres, baths and city walls. Tonight, cap your Tauck journey with a festive farewell reception and dinner. Meals BLD

13. JOURNEY HOME Tour ends: Jordan. A transfer is included from the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea to the Queen Alia International Airport (approximately 1¼ hours) – allow 3 hours for flight check-in.
