With a new Disney film Secret of the Wings set for release in autumn 2012, Flair’s new Disney Fairies emulate the movie, along with other new additions to the
range. The Mini Fairy Collection features the new film characters as well as existing
favourites, and with the Mini Fairy Fashion Boutique, the Disney Fairies can model five removable outfits. In addition, Sky High Tink is a glittery doll which can be launched from the flower launcher using the dragon-fly pull-cord and watch it take flight, reaching up to three metres in the air. Meanwhile, Colour Surprise Tink magically recognises coloured objects that she is placed on, lighting up her wings in up to ten different colours to match the object. Disney Fairies will be supported
with TV advertising, marketing and PR campaigns and there will be both a theatrical and home entertainment release of Secret of the Wings in autumn.

The new 2012 portfolio for John Crane introduces Trudi, a plush collection, joining the Lilliputiens range. The Sporty Rag Doll is dressed in a
grey and green top and sporty red trainers. Its strawberry blonde hair is tied up in bunches with a red satin bow and the doll has been double stitched to ensure strength. The doll is joined by other characters including the Green Rag Doll, the Teddy Dress Rag Doll and the pink Ballerina Rag Doll.
Pintoy offers a collection of doll’s accessories including the Doll Stroller, which is made from natural and pink wood with four rubberised wheels to ensure a safe and stable ride. The stroller also features four pink rings along a bar at the front to keep dolls entertained. When playtime is over, the stroller folds away for easy storage. Pintoy also has a Doll’s Rocking
Cradle, Bunk Bed, Doll’s Buggy and Doll’s High Chair in its collection.
ZAPF CREATION
Zapf Creation has three new dolls hitting the shelves this autumn. Launching into the popular Baby born range is Baby born Interactive. The brand reached its 20th anniversary last year and continuing with the legacy of the celebrated dolls, the new interactive doll has ten accessories and eight life-like functions. Zapf says it is the only doll in the UK with that many functions. Baby born Interactive is suitable for children aged three plus (£39.99). The new Baby born
accessories include a cabriolet, a kitchen, a scooter and a horse. Adding to Zapf’s growth in the
large doll sector is Baby Annabell, which will see a refresh for autumn. Baby Annabell features realistic baby sounds and a cute facial expression. Its refreshed life-like functions –
including mouth and eye movement, crying real tears and responding to human contact – will continue to be
