This year’s Get up and Glow line includes Pillow Racer ride-ons, Big Adventure play- sets, a counting cash register and the reinvention of the Activity Garden. First up, Pillow Racers come in three designs – ladybird, dinosaur and green turtle – and have four castor wheels. The toy develops coordination and motor skills, while the character detaches. The Big Adventures range includes several play-sets, plus vehicles such as

Big Adventures Fire Station, the Side by Side Racing Set and Construction Peak Rail & Road Set. Action Air Show will also launch later in the year. The Counting Cash Register helps toddlers learn to count, while the classic Activity Garden is being reintroduced following demand from parents. It can be enjoyed as an open play

garden or opened out into a two-sided play centre.

Miniland offers a number of Aptitude Box Sets, aimed at use in the classroom as well as for parents. The Aptitude range features a wide variety of infant learning toys targeted at three year olds to pre-school age. The Clock & Activity Card Set has a plastic clock face and is divided into hours and minutes. The hands are rotated by the functional outer wheel, while comic strip style activity cards show snapshots of daily life, adjacent

to a standard clock face and the 24- hour clock. Magnetic Letters are also available in upper and lower case. Wonderworld’s Stacker features buildable domino-style numbered blocks on a wooden base. Children will learn basic counting by stacking pieces in position, while developing problem solving and colour recognition. Finally, the Counting Ball is a pinball-inspired toy which teaches counting, adding and subtracting.
