MCV takes a pictorial look back at last week’s Electronics Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles
Monday June 4th, 9am PST Microsoft kicked off proceedings with a conference heavy on action shooter games. The company also showed off new fitness title Nike+ Kinect Training, Gears of War: Judgement, new technology SmartGlass and revealed Dance Central 3– with the help of pop superstar Usher (below far right). But the highlight had to be the unscripted appearance of South Park creators Trey Park and Matt Stone (below).

EA’s conference was all about “ten great games from ten great developers.” The big reveals were Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Dead Space 3. But the real surprise was news that the publisher had secured the UFCrights from THQ.

Ubisoft dominated E3 and its press conference was once again a mix of new and blockbuster IP. Eight Wii U games, a new Splinter Celland Just Dance were the big announcements, but it was unique new adult IP Watch Dogs that grabbed the headlines.
