Print and Supplies teams combined to put more focus on attach sales
C
omputer 2000 has changed the structure of the Print and Supplies business unit so that now all members of the team have responsibility for the print and the supplies side of specific vendors’ business. Previously, they would have been working either
on print or on supplies products. Under the new structure, they’ll be able to provide you with more help and advice on the extras and add-ons you can sell with every printer or MFD you sell.
As part of the re-shuffle, Carl Mitchell has become Print and Supplies Manager so, if you have any key propositions or want to work more closely with the P&S team to maximise your opportunities, Carl is the person to contact. Te closer alignment of the team to vendor programmes will also help to make sure the full benefits of all promotions and incentives are passed onto to you.
Te team is now in place – please email
print@computer2000.co.uk if you want to find out more about how they can help you maximise every print and supplies sales opportunity.
HP TopShot laser gets pulses racing
T
he incredible HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275nw MFP has proved to be a big hit since its launch at the start of the year and if you have not already told your customers about it, we strongly recommend you do.
It’s easy to see the allure. A built-in high-quality camera mounted on an arm, extends out of the top of the printer and is used to take multiple all-round shots of any small item to create a 3D image that can be printed or emailed right away.
It can capture an image of any small object. A total of six images are captured per scan or copy – three with flashes from different angles. Tey are combined into one seamless image. Tis is ideal if you want to manipulate or overlay images as elements in graphical designs or insert them into brochures or flyers for print. Or you can scan images for use on blogs and webstores and for online auctioning sites – and lots more. It supports web printing too and you can even scan images direct to web apps without a PC.
