Maverick brings ground- breaking InFocus Mondopad giant tablet to market
M
averick has signed an agreement to distribute the InFocus Mondopad in the UK. Te first all-in-one giant tablet designed for business-class video conferencing and collaboration, the Mondopad is a 55-inch HD wall tablet that combines
intuitive multi-touch collaboration applications with cloud-based video conferencing. Unlike traditional video conferencing, it requires no up-front infrastructure investment. It works with all SIP and H.323 standards-based end-points and many proprietary video conferencing platforms across normal Internet connections.
Mark Tildesley, General Manager of Maverick UK, added: ‘Tis is an excellent opportunity for us to build on the positive and very productive partnership we have with InFocus as their exclusive projector distributor in the UK. With the extended reach we have into other channels through our enterprise and SMB technology sales divisions Maverick can take the Mondopad to a much wider community of resellers and into new markets where there is real potential for incremental growth.’
Te InFocus offers full-HD 1080p (1920x1080) on an LCD display that has been designed for video-conferencing from the ground up. It supports industry standards and works with most free consumer video conferencing applications, like Google Chat, as well as proprietary video conferencing platforms and enterprise TelePresence systems. Te Mondopad’s 720p HD video camera and sound-bar are designed specifically for video conferencing to eliminate conference room clutter and enhance the audio quality of dialogue.
