oylesports are the first major in- dependent bookmaker to take SIS’ new text display system, SISPromote. This follows the an-

nouncement that SIS has agreed with OpenBetto license its latest display tech- nology and will begin to market SISPro- mote to LBOs. SISPromote offers flexible presentations

from varied single screen forms (8-28 screens) offering a traditional style of dis- play, to a multi-view style of presentation using a smaller number of larger LCD/LED screens, through to the latest in video-wall presentations, giving customers a ‘cine- matic’ experience.

Phil Siers, managing director of the SIS LBO Division, said: “We are absolutely de- lighted to recruit Boylesports as our first major bookmaker to take SISPromote. Over the coming months we will be working closely with Boylesports to upgrade their estate with the latest screen systems avail- able, whether it be multi-screen or a sepa- rate screen solution.” SIS commercial director Brent Dolan, Boylesports founder John Boyle and com- mercial manager Sharon Byrne signed the agreement at ICE Totally Gaming in London last month. Byrne said: “At Boylesports, we continuously strive to be a leading innova- tor in the retail betting marketplace. The new SISPromote system will further rein- force this and will give us a cutting edge

tool to improve the level of service to our customers. SISPromote will provide Boyle- sports with a range of operational improve- ments and allow us to creatively market our services to our customers.”

The new display system is expected to

roll out from April 1. SIS is to support the system with a full bureau service and part of the agreement with Boylesports includes the Dundalk-based bookmaker being an ante-post supplier to SISPromote. The upgraded SIS bureau will ensure OpenBet customers have an alternative when the OpenBet bureau service closes on 31 March and SIS is asking that those customers register their interest with them by the end of February if they want to main-

tain continuity of service. Existing SIS customers of TDC and iSIS

screen systems will also be able to upgrade to SISPromote.

Customers will be contacted by SIS this month. Siers commented: “It remains our intension to provide a bureau service to all SIS customers and those other customers who choose to upgrade their current ALBOS. We are not looking to disadvantage any customer. Those customers who com- mit to SIS will see their guaranteed bureau costs reduce over five years.” The new shop product is expected to be followed later this year with the rollout of an EPOS system to give retail bookmakers an integrated solution.
