Preparing for a year of sport

etradar has branded ICE Totally Gaming as a ‘great success’ with its newly de- signed stand of more than 125 square metres, where it unveiled its latest product news and services.
Carsten Koerl, CEO of the international Sportradar Group, summed up the three busy days in London: “The fair turned out to be a resounding success for Betradar and con- firmed that our products are absolutely spot on. Particularly, the launch of our new Virtual Football League has been a huge success.” This year’s exhibition saw the market launch of several new products. The latest product highlight of Betradar is the Virtual Football League, which provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year real money
betting on virtual football. This new product has been developed to provide a close to real- ity betting experience at any time of day, tak- ing football betting to a new level. Advanced 3D graphics and technology guarantee a highly authentic match simulation model, providing a unique betting experience for the punter whilst driving bookmaker revenues. 2012 is anticipated to be a year of exciting sporting highlights such as the Olympic Games in London and the European Football Championships in Poland and Ukraine. In order to meet clients’ requirements in such a sporting year, Betradar launched the new Olympics Live Score Solution, which delivers dynamic Olympics content to end users at the biggest event of the year. The customis-
able Flash solution covers all the 26 sports of the Olympic Games including the full sched- ule of events, start times, live results and full medal tables. Furthermore it enables book- makers to display Olympic specific odds to the end user within the solution as well as to integrate all the news, images and videos around the Games. Additionally, Betradar has developed an event powered version of the highly popular Live Centre Soccer for the 2012 European Championships. Squad and individual stats on players, referees and managers, tourna- ment overviews, venue information, histori- cal facts and records are added values to this special Live Centre Soccer edition. Betradar intends to continue to develop an even more
advanced level of sports coverage through- out its comprehensive Live Betting Solutions in 2012. Betradar’s portfolio has grown to in excess of 100 different betting markets and currently includes live coverage for football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, handball, volleyball and beach volleyball. In total, the coverage amounts to over 5,000 live events around-the-clock each month. With regards to live betting opportunities, Betradar’s plan is to cover and offer over 7,000 events per month within this year, of which 4,000 alone will be football matches. Betradar will be in- creasing the list of sports to be covered live during 2012 with American Football, Base- ball, Rugby, Table Tennis, Badminton and Futsal.
