OFF THE RECORD

This week, Gotham City commuters, Reggie Fils-Aime’s long lost brother found at 2K, the £1,500 Game Boy title and Rising Star hosts a Nintendisco. Plus, I Love, Hidden Talents and another MCV Awards retrospective

TO THE BAT OFFICE! Warner Bros marked the release of downloadable multiplayer shooter Gotham City Impostersby sending out vigilantes to protect the commuters of London. Like the game’s characters, the group dressed up as wannabe Batmans and Jokers, blending in perfectly with the busy crowds as they made their way to work. The trend is sure to catch on – after all, it worked for Adam West and Burt Ward (right).

SEPARATED AT BIRTH

Has anyone else noticed the uncanny resemblance between 2K Games’ Ben Lawrence and Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime? His Take-Two colleagues certainly have. Same hair, same facial structure – look, they even have the same wallpaper. We reckon 2K should start lending Ben to Nintendo as a backup Reggie for shop openings, launch parties and other public appearances.
