The website is playing an ever more important role in the companyʼs communication with, marketing to, and support of its imprint customers. And the number of visitors is increasing month on month. Visitors are also logging on from a wider range of countries than ever before, prompting the launch of new Polish and Russian language versions of the site during 2011. The scope of the main site has also more than doubled in size over the past year, with additional sections, tools and features being added to the site. Site analytics show that the Menʼs T shirts and Sweats sections, and the ʻFind a Supplierʼ page are the three most viewed pages.


The site has been updated with the new 2012 product imagery, product spec details and colour additions to existing styles. Visitors will also find refreshing changes to the siteʼs design. The top navigation bar will feature coloured tabs that synchronise with the creative for the 2012 catalogue – 100 Reasons To Pick Fruit – plus links to a new ʻContact Usʼ page and enquiry form. The Contact Us page will allow visitors to communicate directly with Fruit of the Loom and will channel all enquiries to the relevant department. offering a comprehensive suite of customer support tools for use in creating advertising, point of display posters, email marketing campaigns and so on. Over 4000 members have joined Fruit Club since its launch in November 2010. The Add Your Logo function is an especially useful tool that can be used to create virtual samples ʻembellishedʼ with your uploaded logo or badge design. Fruit Club members can also download garment images, as well as full product range details, CMYK values and so on, for use in their own printed brochures and company websites. A new addition for 2012 is the ability to download the relevant PDF spec sheets for all of the Menʼs, Ladiesʼ or Kidsʼ styles. Instead of having to visit each product page and download the spec sheets individually, visitors can now click on ʻLadiesʼ, for example, to download the spec sheets for all of the Fruit of the Loom Lady-Fit styles, and so on. This will give visitors the opportunity to gain quick and easy access to all of the 2012 spec sheets with three clicks of their mouse. The Fruit of the Loom Schoolwear micro site was launched in April 2011 and showcases the companyʼs entire education wear collection: 30 styles in total, presented in three distinct sections – School Uniforms, Collegewear and Sportswear. Customers can also now browse safety equipment by iPhone with the new app available from iTunes. Online stock checker at United Brands


United Brandsʼ customers can now check stock anytime, anywhere, which is ideal for people on the move. The new service allows you to easily check stock of all promo and workwear brands. And you can also now download images of each item and colour, simply by right-clicking on the image and clicking ʻsave asʼ.
