POLO SHIRTS Penthouse style leads the field in polo shirt sector T

he success of Blue Max Bannerʼs winning Penthouse Polo is down to its “unbeatable consistency and durability combined with easy care characteristics”, according to marketing manager, Piers Mountgarret. Says Piers: “This shirt is a true workhorse. Not only will it withstand the rigours of the daily environment – be it a building site or a school playground – but it will also keep on looking as good as new, wash after wash after wash.” The Penthouse Polo is a firm favourite with embroiderers and printers, according to Blue Max Banner. Its super tightknit poly/ringspun cotton fabric in 100-210gsm guarantees a consistently stable platform for decoration. The flagship Penthouse Polo brand now offers 17 colours and 13 sizes. The Tipped Penthouse Polo has the renowned stamp and quality of the original but adds an eye-catching contrasting stripe detail around the collar and ribbed cuffs, and mock horn buttons.

It comes in six colour combinations and white as a base colour, with five contrasting colours including a new

bottle. Sizes are from age 3 to 4 years up to adultsʼ XXXL.

Further variations include the Ladiesʼ Penthouse, with its shaped fit, and the Cotton Penthouse made from 100% combed cotton and with extra low shrinkage qualities.

New to the combined brochure this year is the Millfield – previously a best- selling Banner item. This knitted pique polo with short sleeves features a flat knit collar and ribbed cuffs. The Classic Polo combines quality with unbeatable value and, in response to customer demand, it is now available in Kelly green and purple bringing the total to 10 colours. Finally, the popular Cogs Polo shirt is a keenly priced, durable shirt designed to meet the demands of even the toughest working environment. It is made from a 220gsm poly/cotton fabric and features side vents, ribbed cuffs, a taped neck band and self coloured buttons. Nine colours are available in 12 sizes from 3-4 years to 3XL. ■ For more information call 0845 23 00 888 or visit www.bluemaxbanner.co.uk

ALL THE COLOURS: The JC40 Just Cool Polo comes in 15 colours.

QUALITY: Blue Max Banner’s eye-catching Tipped

Penthouse Polo.

ust Hoodsʼ new sibling a year ago, Just Cool By AWDis, was the most exciting new development in polo shirts for years.

NEW: 2012 sees the launch of the Just Sub by AWDis Polo, designed

specifically for sublimation printing.

How to make a polo shirt exciting is a tough ask but Just Cool did it with its very own inherently wicking 140gsm lightweight polyester fabric called Neoteric comfort – a high volume knit designed to keep the wearer comfortable and dry in work, sport and casual use. In keeping with the AWDisʼ practice the JC40 Polo is available in 15 colours, more than any other polyester polo brand with a colour for every need, dark or light, muted or bright they are all there. A great bonus is that the colours all match their equivalent in the Just Hoodsʼ range so any organisation looking for a co-ordinated appearance now need look no further. NEW for 2012 is the Just Sub by AWDis Polo designed specifically for sublimation printing. Just Sub shirts are in our own Neoteric 185gsm 100% polyester jersey fabric, durable enough to do justice to a permanent printing process.

They retain all of the advantages of quick drying, easy care polyester, but when sublimation printed at 190-200C, they exhibit minimal and very acceptable levels of marking which all but disappear in steaming or washing.

Just Cool and Just Sub ensure you will Look cool, Feel Cool and Stay Cool. AWDis is only available from PencarrieUKL 0800 252248 or 0800 220955; Prestige Leisure UK 0800 652 1234; Ralawise 08002 212 180 or Ralawise Ireland on 1 800 599 599. ■ For more information visit www.justcoolbyawdis.co.uk and www.justsubbyawdis.com
