BMW Group subsidiary DesignWorks USA designed this striking new computer mouse for US-based computer gaming systems developer Thermaltake. The first device in the company’s
new range of Level 10 e-sports accessories, the mouse is intended to replicate the cutting edge design of
Thermaltake’s Level 10 gaming tower computer casing, yet package it in a device that delivers pleasant and comfortable ergonomics. A key theme of the design is its open nature. This is taken directly from the Level 10 tower casing, which was also a DesignWorks project. ❙

Objet targets surgical equipment makers
3D printing specialist Objet has developed a new biocompatible material that can simulate PMMA and is expected to find applications in a wide range of medical and dental applica- tions, particularly the produc-
tion of highly accurate, customised surgical guides. The Med610 material is
transparent and provides high levels of dimensional stability. It is suitable for applications requiring prolonged skin
contact of more than 30 days and mucosal-membrane contact of up to 24 hours. It carries five medical approvals according to the harmonised standard ISO 10993-1: cytotoxicity, genotoxicity,
delayed type hypersensitivity, irritation and USP Plastic Class VI.
Med610 can be used on all Objet Connex and Eden 3D printers. ❙
