MAGʼs fighting fund Leeds MAG
We decided to use The Parkfield Suite in Stanningley, which was a venue we hadn’t used before and it proved to be a good move. We had live music from local band Little Rock, who played at Into The Valley and The Farmyard Party earlier in the year. They played a fantastic set that got everyone up on the dance floor. Local dealerships had come up trumps again and provided plenty of raffle prizes, which seemed to go down well. We also had prizes for best male and best female

fancy dress, which were chosen by Little Rocks singer, Storm. She chose Joe O'Melia who was dressed as a Ghostbuster and did a fine rendition of the Ghostbusters’ dance when coming up to collect his prize. Meanwhile the lovely Helga, as portrayed by Guy Le Gorilla from Huddersfield MAG won the best ‘female’. A great time was had by everyone, with money raised for the MAG fighting fund. It proved once again that us Yorkshire folk really know how to party – roll on the next one!
