Ruby the Bullmastiff
We had a great time at the Yokshire Pudding. I was just reading Mutch's report in The Road and saw a familiar face, there at the bottom was our Bullmastiff Ruby! Her name has been reported as Sarah, but Ruby didn't mind, though my mate’s wife Sarah was a bit upset when we suggested there was a similarity.
Ruby is 20 months old. We got her in July when our previous Bullmastiff Bo died. We had just had Ruby about three weeks before the rally and were not sure how she would behave. We needn't have worried. She wasn't bothered by the ride in her cage inside a mini caravan behind our trike, or by the crowds or even the bikes. All the food was a big distraction
