Support from young carers for injured riders
MAG member Gordon Clark is a Development Worker with a charity supporting young carers aged under 24 years of age. in Nottinghamshire.
Gordon points out that often in the aftermath of an accident with serious injury a family will muddle through without support from external agencies and do not realise there is support out there to help in practical ways. Gordon figures that many members of MAG may know an injured biker who could benefit from the support of a young carers project and he wants to do everything he can to give them the opportunity to access the support his organisation provides.
