came on Saturday, when No. 22 Washing- ton visited No. 7 Stanford. Both teams en- tered the game undefeated in Pac-12 North play, but the Cardinal won easily, 65–21. Quarterback Andrew Luck was effi cient
in completing 16 of 21 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns. However, he mostly watched his teammates run over, through, and around the Huskies for a whopping 446 yards on the ground. Stepfan Taylor rushed for 138 yards on just 10 carries, Tyler Gaffney had 117 yards on nine at- tempts, and Anthony Wilkerson added 93 yards and two touchdowns. Stanford

USC jumped to a 14–0 lead before Notre Dame managed a fi rst down, and the Trojans went on to win 31–17 in South Bend. Jawanza Starling returned a fumble 80 yards for a key touchdown in the second half.
