ACT Practice Test and Strategy Workshop


A two-part program presented by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Registering for the ACT Practice Test automatically registers you for the ACT Strategy Workshop. You must attend both days.


Part 1: ACT Practice Test A practice test is crucial to ward off those test day jitters and reveal how you may score on the real thing. Experience first hand what test day will be like as this practice test simulates actual test conditions. Participants are encouraged to bring a healthy snack and drink, #2 pencils and a calculator. Wear comfortable clothing. Cell phones will not be allowed.


Part 2: ACT Strategy Workshop Review your ACT practice test scores and learn specific areas where you need improvement. Learn score-raising ACT strategies and find out how ACT test scores affect college admissions requirements. Parents are welcome to attend the strategy workshop. Grade:

Interested in the legal system? Try your hand at being a lawyer. Students will learn the process for trying a case. While learning about the legal system, students will act as lawyers and witnesses to try their own case during a mock trial. Ages:

Live! At Lincoln Center – Teen Concert

Come support your local musicians as local teen bands rock the Lincoln Center Auditorium. All bands performing receive a cut of the admission fee. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
