Cable &Wiring Products M12 connectors pre-terminated to Profibus cable
Binder UK now supplies an enhanced version of the series 766 range ofM12 B-coded connectors available with bulkhead sockets pre-terminated on 0.5mProfibus cable.
The new connectors are ideal for
terminating control cabinets of Profibus systems in factory automation and control equipment to ensure the whole network is shielded against EMI. They cater for applications where it is not desirable to
terminate the shield to the PCB. Instead, 360 deg shielding is provided by the crimped termination of the Profibus cable to the front or rearmounted zinc die-cast connector.
Binder series 766 connectors are two-pole,
rated at 4A and protected to IP68. Gold plated contacts providemating cycles in excess of 100.

Harwin has launched a newrange of surface mountwiremanagement cable clips designed to be automatically-placed and soldered directly to the PCB. Part of Harwin’s EZ-Boardware portfolio, the clips can replace plastic deviceswhich require costly and time consumingmanual installation.
Said to be smaller than equivalent plastic
wiremanagement clips, Harwin’smetal clips are placed directly onto solder pads, thus negating the need to drill retaining holes in the PCB. The clips are also low profile and do not protrude through the
PCB increasing design flexibility. A short video featuring the clips can be
viewed at
www.youtube.com. Supplied on tape and reel and
compatible with automatedmanufacturing and soldering processes, Harwin’smetal cable clips boast excellentmechanical performance and are available in four different sizes to accommodate a range of wires between 1.0 and 3.0mmin diameter. They are ideal for high volume commercial and industrialmarkets as well as consumer electronics applications.
