EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Freeze Master lifts the lid

Freeze Master will unveil the 690E pipe freezing machine, an updated version of the 610D model with the ability to operate with the lid closed. The manufacturer says this is to meet demand from hirers who find that customers often require such a machine for work in small bathrooms. Updated electrical components have been sourced for the

electronic refrigerant delivery system. The case includes a lay-flat handle, as well as an easy access storage compartment along the top rear for reducers to freeze 8 to 61mm pipes. The body has three openings where the hoses and mains lead can be slotted, enabling the lid to be closed, and the machine is available in 110 or 240V versions.

Thermoil’s battery boosters

First-time exhibitor, Thermoil Europe, offers products designed to enhance, extend and protect unsealed lead acid batteries. The Battery De-Mister reduces water consumption by up to 15 times that of an untreated battery, eliminates corrosion and is claimed to virtually eliminate the risk of explosion.

The Battery De-Sulfater can

improve the lifecycle of any mechanically sound lead acid battery, which can then be put back into full service. In addition, an analyser system will be available for visitors to assess on the stand, which can be used to test any sort of traction or starting battery, and offers the facility to provide printouts for service records.
