EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

HSC to launch conveyor systems

The Hire Supply Company (HSC) has been appointed as the

exclusive UK and Eire distributor of Etramo

Maxi and Mini conveyors, designed to withstand the rigours of hire and to enable the efficient movement of heavy loads. Innovative energy-efficient lighting will also be on show, including

the 57watt Elite Globe Light, which has a diffuser that is described as virtually unbreakable. Also displayed will be the new R7 compact energy saving fluorescent light, which can be used with 110V 500watt tungsten halogen heads. HSC promises its usual offering of Show-only deals on core products in its portfolio, and visitors can try their luck in a special arcade style game on the stand.

Shannon’s remote control dumper

Shannon Plant South West will display its new Shannon Solo remote control, compact hi-tip dumper, developed to address site safety issues. Incorporating a scissor mechanism, it can lift up to 500kg and can load a standard skip. Director Stuart Selway says, “Because the machine can be operated remotely at a distance of up to 100m, it is safe to be used in hazardous areas like quarries, railways, power stations and demolition sites where there is a risk of falling debris.” Shannon Plant plans to introduce other remote control machines including a mower, post rammer, sprayer and a unit with a dozer blade.
