SMC EXPANDS INTO AUSTRALIA
SMC Light and Power, the UK based manufacturer of lighting towers, has appointed Powerlite Generators Sydney as its sole distributor for Australia.
Powerlite Generators based in Sydney, have been trading since 1961 and have been seeking additional products for the company to market and so a deal was agreed to appoint Powerlite with effect from the start of January 2011.

SMC and Powerlite will be focusing efforts to develop the market for SMC lighting towers in Australia and will be targeting specific industries including the events market and rental companies across the territory.

For the 4th year in a row, ArcGen Hilta will be showcasing their product range at the Executive Hire Show. This year not only will they be exhibiting from their biggest stand yet but will also be joined by SMC Light & Power after the acquisition by ArcGen Hilta earlier this year.
As well as their new leasing and service contracts, the new Lumaphore lighting product will be unveiled on the stand. This is the first time the products have been available in the UK and are exclusive to ArcGen Hilta, extending its range and providing their customers with greater choice for their lighting needs.
At the show, ArcGen Hilta on stand B50 will also offer visitors some ‘killer’ show only offers across its market leading products including the Powermaker 6DV, the Sprite 2” diaphragm pump and the SMC SL-90 Lighting Tower.
