Predatorin February.
EA holds on to second place with FIFA 11despite a drop in sales of 24 per cent, while last week’s MICROSOFT chart- topper Fable IIIfalls to No.3, with 64 per cent fewer sales. Just Dance 2from UBISOFT retains fourth position ahead of Fallout: New Vegasand Medal of Honorwhich fall to No.7 and No.8 respectively.
Professor Layton and the Lost Futureclimbs three places from No.8 to No.5. NINTENDO also sees a 99 per cent sales rise for New Super Mario Bros. Wii thanks to the launch of its special 25th Anniversary Red Nintendo Wii console bundle.
Elsewhere, ACTIVISION releases new Bond games GoldenEye 007on Wii and 007: Blood Stoneon multiple formats, which make it to No.13 and No.18.
Other new releases which didn’t manage to enter the Top 40 – but did make it into the Top 10 charts for their respective formats – include Super Scribblenautsfrom WARNER BROS on DS, Farming Simulator 2011from EXCALIBUR on PC and Ghost of Spartafrom SONY on PSP.
Re-entries this week include LEGO Batman: The Videogame from Warner Bros, Blurfrom Activision and EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.
Expect a major chart re- shuffle next week following the arrival of Kinect, Black Opsand a host of other titles including Sonic Colours, Doctor Whoand more.
