RECOMMENDED: DEF JAM RAPSTAR
HIP-HOP has become one of the most prolific and popular music genres, and is responsible for introducing the world to the talents of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and more. Now 4mm Games is releasing a
karaoke game focusing entirely on the genre, in a bid to transform houses into cribs, and fans into rap stars. Money, fame and women not included. The karaoke game allows players to rap along to more than 40 classic hip-hop songs. Lyrics flash up on screen, similarly to SingStar and Rock Band, and participants must rap in rhythm to score the most points.
Players can even record themselves using a USB camera and upload the video to the community at
www.defjamrapstar.com. A ‘Freestyle Mode’ also allows users to deliver their own unique rhymes to tracks from some of hip-hop’s hottest producers, including DJ Premier, Just Blaze and
