INTERACTIVE IDEAS has expanded heavily over the past year, opening a new £1m office and seeing record revenues of
almost £24m. It also won a number of awards.
This is an impressive series of achievements for the firm, which has been operating for 16 years largely as a PC software and technology distributor. It also distributes a range of gaming

peripherals, gadgets, audio products and more.
The firm pulled in net revenues of £23.7m in its last fiscal year which ended in April 2010 – a rise of 45 per cent year-on-year. It’s also the third year in a row that Interactive Ideas has seen revenue grow over 40 per cent compared to the previous fiscal year.
This year Interactive moved into a new £1m office and training facility, with a 20,000 square foot warehouse and logistics centre.

CASUAL gamers who own Wii and DS consoles make up a large demographic of consumers, and one that Game On is
targeting with its collection of controllers, cases and more. The global peripherals brand also delivers accessories for Xbox 360 and PS3 players, including products for the new respective motion controllers Kinect and Move. Game On’s product line-up includes a ‘Mini Wii’ range of child-

sized Wii Remotes, Nunchucks, sports clubs, light swords and Balance Boards. It offers microphone accessories, steering wheels, carry cases, light guns, charges and other unique peripherals like inflatable Wii Racing Karts.

Now it is moving into the film business. Koch has partnered with G2 Pictures to build the Horror Fest brand in the UK and support the release of After Dark Originals, with plenty more films lined up after that.

It will distribute DVDs and promote films through channels such as cinema, retail, TV and video- on-demand services. “For many years Koch has worked closely with partners in a symbiotic way,” says Koch’s UK MD Craig McNicol. “They provide the idea and the development know-how. “We provide the sales, marketing and logistical infrastructure to fully bring the project to market. I am sure you will agree that this does not meet the normal definitions of a distributor.”
