RECOMMENDED: PDC DARTS PRO TOUR

DARTS has come a long way. Now there are huge tournaments across the UK as well as motion-sensing games that feature the pros. And for games based on a sport that pales in comparison to the popularity of football, they have sold very well. PDC World Championship Darts 2008on PS2 and Wii sold 100,000 copies in its first six months on sale, performing well in both formats’ charts.

The sport also now has its own hero similar to Wayne Rooney or Tiger Woods – in the form of Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, who is playable in this game. He has won more than 150 professional tournaments and 15 world championships. With PDC World Championships Darts: Pro Tour, O-Games aims to capitalise on the success of previous titles by adding Wii MotionPlus and Move compatibility. It’s the latest officially licensed Professional Darts Corporation video game.
