NEW ‘RULES ENGINE’ DELIVERS UNLIMITED FEATURE SET Infinias LLC released Intelli-M Access version 2.0 software. The key new addition is a rules engine designed to give users the ability to transform capa- bilities into easily tailored, high-level features to meet their unique security needs. With an open-ended architecture, events from third-party applications, such as video management and elevator control, can be used to trigger actions in Intelli-M Access. New actions can be added to the rules engine by third- party vendors to trigger actions in their product, thus extending the software to near limitless capabilities. The rules engine intelligently manages action- able events on a system-wide basis. The Intelli-M product line delivers robust access control over a corporate network using the eIDC, a PoE single-door con- troller managed by Intelli-M Access, a browser-based management software. infinias LLC
