Protect America Inc. Sees Favorable Response With Marketing Campaign
H & H Imports Inc., parent company of TV Goods Inc., announced a direct response marketing campaign for Protect America Inc. generated favorable results following local tests in Tampa, Fla., as well as in various markets nationwide, indicating viable market demand for the featured line of home security products. Protect America retained the services of TV Goods to produce a direct response marketing campaign for its home security products. Protect America employs GE Wireless Home Security Systems. The company was ranked No. 13 on the 2010 SDM 100 Report. TV Goods was engaged to gauge the viability of market- ing Protect America products via direct response channels. TV Goods established a test campaign employing the Access Gayle NewsmercialTM format. Access Gayle is a weekly television segment featuring Gayle Guyardo, a 17-year news veteran and former local NBC news anchor. The program segments air regu- larly each week at the end of the Sunday morning news hour on the local Tampa ABC affiliate, WFTS on channel 28. Steven Rogai, chief executive officer of TV Goods, stated, “This test market indicates overall strong demand for the Protect America line of home security products. Coppell, Texas-based e-DATA Corp, a biometric access control and time and attendance company, added two regional managers to its staff. Thomas Friesema (northeast U.S. and eastern Canada) and Jim Fort (southeast U.S.) arrive with more than 20 years of experience each in the security/access control industry. Friesema and Fort each managed a team of security system integrators and pro- vided access control solutions for commercial, industrial and government markets and end users.

Pinnacle Holdings Group, Las Vegas, owner of Pinnacle Security, appointed Sean Forrest as chief financial officer (CFO). Forrest will be responsible for Pinnacle Holdings Group while Jason Knapp, current CFO, will be responsible for the security alarms division.
