monster, diva strops, and even a girl who super glued her tassels on... yes, really! Writing is my other big passion. I write short films – the latest is an East End love drama set in 1947 which was premiered at Cannes 2010. I’m also doing a part time BA in Creative Writing and have written a collection of short stories following journeys of creativity in London. I’m hopelessly addicted to afternoon tea. I go every day and write for two hours. Maison Berteaux, Patisserie Valerie, Ladurée or Claridges are my favourites. I couldn’t believe it when I
worked out I spend £2,200 a year on tea – tragic yet glorious! Life’s not a dress rehearsal but it is a catwalk! I get ready for it by buying frilly knickers from Myla, trawling the theatre costume sales around Brick Lane for retro showgirl outfits, and being coiffed at Nina’s Hair Parlour – she does the best vintage hair in the world. My idea of heaven is staying in the bath for hours with a glass of French wine, reading magazines and using my toes to keep filling up the hot water. w
