Portobello is where I live and I love it. A lot of music and fashion has generated from the area and the market folk will always give you a secret bit of gossip. I often think I was born for burlesque. When I was young, my mum was a children’s dressmaker for Harrods so I used to turn up to school in sparkling tulle ballgowns. I still love dressing up. Ponystep in Hoxton is the place to go if you want something amazingly fabulous. My fi nest hour (so far) was being voted ‘Best UK’ at the London Burlesque Festival. My current residencies include

The Tassel Club at Pigalle and Proud and Wam Bam at Café de Paris. My routines are very Vegas inspired and extravagant. I wear Egyptian Isis wings, explode giant glitter bombs and dance on a 7 foot diamanté star, which lives in my lounge at home. When people come over, they’re like, ‘What the hell is that?!’ but I make them sit on it and have a cup of tea! You won’t believe what happens backstage sometimes.
