Flipping fantastic
■ MAGNUS SHEVING – or more commonly
known as Sportacus from the successful BBC
series LazyTown – visited The National Franchise
Exhibition last month, putting on an impressive
display of handstands and press-ups.
The popular television series aims to get
children exercising, and is working with FitKid to
open up LazyTown franchises across the UK.
Magnus Sheving commented: “There is an
enormous amount of demand for LazyTown –
with franchising we can
spread it faster and we
will have different
local knowledge
of each
region.”

Fancy a cuppa?
■ RECOGNITION EXPRESS, a leading
supplier of promotional products,
corporate gifts and branded clothing, is
running a competition with primary schools
across the UK, asking pupils to design a
road safety mug to raise awareness about
road safety.
The competition is being run in
partnership with Brake, the national road
safety charity. Those that are successful will
receive a box of 36 mugs carrying their
winning design, along with 250 high visibility
slap wraps – great for keeping children safe
on their way to and from school!
The winning schools will be announced
during Road Safety Week (23-29
