who is not getting the results from
traditional medicine. The clinic is posi-
tioned more for finding root causes of
allergies, chronic conditions, develop-
mental disorders and medical misfits.
We don’t want to just treat the symp-
toms, but find and treat the causes.
Then the symptoms will go away.
Your clinic sponsors many seminars
and workshops. Tell us about them.
Craig: My goal is to make neurode-
velopment and naturopathic solutions
popular for the treatment of ADD,
ADHD, autism, development delays
and developmental disorders. To do
that, we’re educating parents, teach-
ers, counselors and daycare workers
about the alternatives to medications,
surgeries and other invasive proce-
dures that only address a child’s symp-
toms. The attendance and polarity of
our seminars is growing quickly.
We are currently authorized to
provide professional development
CEUs for certain events. Involving the
parents of children in need with other
professionals has been an effective way
of getting everyone on the same page.
Describe what is covered in one of
your seminars.
Craig: In The Positive Environment
Workshop, for example, I address spe-
cific issues involving home, school or
daycare venues to promote a positive
environment for children. That means
delivering an average of four positives
to every negative, instead of eight
negatives to one positive.
I teach how to establish the posi-
tives, while organizing the classroom
for more productive learning. This
includes techniques that bring the
whole class to a teachable moment.
It also means integrating disciplin-
ary guidelines that tune up desirable
behavior and tune out undesirable
behavior.
One technique is having the
entire class march in unison from the
playground to the classroom. This
activity helps organize the brain and
settles the brain into logical hemi-
spheres to prepare for learning.
