Dear editor,
I have been an avid reader of your magazine
since I came to Macau in 2004 and have watched as
Macau’s economy has boomed and the most recent
dramatic downfall as a result of the global crisis.
I wanted to express my opinion regarding the key
issues relating to expat workers - most particularly the
cutting of foreign workers as a result of the financial
crisis - as this has been on my mind for some time.
One issue raised in the December 2008 issue of
Macau Business comes out of comments made by a

legislator who blamed foreign workers for the sudden
