We are very excited to relaunch as part of
the Astleys Group the well-known
Cardiff Chartered Surveyors and property advisors Stephenson & Alexander (S&A) originally established in 1826 to be rebranded as Stephenson Alexander Astleys (SAA). The new firm will be fronted by Dan Tompkinson with fellow Directors, Paul Beaton, Sean Thomas, Alex de Melverda and Matt Barry.
Having regard to the changes in the Cardiff property consultancy sector with some closures, retirement and scaling back impacting on the local offer; we consider this contraction provides an opportunity for a niche Firm with a personal service allied to experience to thrive again. SAA will specialise in
valuation, lease consultancy, investment and general agency.
Dan Tompkinson is an experienced Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, with nearly 10 years at Gerald Eve Cardiff, prior roles include Head of Valuation at CBRE Hungary covering Central Eastern Europe, Senior Surveyor at JLL London and a stint at CP Robertson-Dunn in Nairobi Kenya.
We are also thrilled to have retained Peter Graham as a Consultant to the new Firm. Peter was an equity partner at S&A from 1995 and became owning partner in 2007, following the long recessionary period from 2008-2014, Peter closed the doors of the old firm and joined Gerald Eve as a partner for 5 years. Peter then set up PGR Property Investment in 2020 where he will continue working providing nationwide investment advisory services. His extensive knowledge of the UK’s property investment market is a real asset for SAA.
