New Office and Workshop Spaces Ready for the Fast- Growing Marine Renewables Industry and Low Carbon

A significant redevelopment has been made by the Port of Milford Haven, to create a multi-purpose and future energy-ready port in Pembrokeshire that will create a bright and prosperous outlook for current and future generations.


Physical works on the Swansea Bay City Deal and EU funded Pembroke Dock Marine project began at Pembroke Port, which is owned and operated by the Port of Milford Haven, in August 2022. Since then, the landscape of the site has changed dramatically.


The existing slipway has been widened to 68 metres and extended to offer greater flexibility for developers and marine businesses looking to test new marine energy devices, launch and recover vessels, and supply chain companies providing maintenance and engineering services to floating offshore wind device operators in the Celtic Sea.


Extensive areas of new laydown space have also been created, and new workboat pontoons have been installed to offer short and long term berthing options for workboats, barges and jack up barges.


And as part of the Pembroke Dock Marine project, the redevelopment of four annexes attached to the historic Sunderland Hangars was completed in 2023. These modern offices and workshops are ideally situated for companies in the renewables and marine sectors looking for a new base within a busy commercial port. The brand new offices and workshops allow for a flexible working solution ideal for developers and supply chain


businesses at the centre of an already bustling dockyard, in this exciting and transformational period of development which will provide additional facilities and services for the growing marine energy industries.


The four annexes were named with a special connection to Pembroke Dock’s rich history, chosen by members of the local community. Whilst Oleander House, Erebus House and Falcon House are already occupied, Catalina House, a brand new two-storey building next to the Western Sunderland Hangar, is available to rent. This building has offices and light workshop spaces, including a central conference room, parking and close proximity to laydown areas, quayside and slipway access.


The size of this property is 760m² over two floors, and available to be let complete. Office spaces inside range from 37.8m² to 85m², along with two workshop spaces measuring 118m² and 120m², as well as a central conference room measuring 32m².
