New Assistant Editor for Feed Compounder Ryan Mounsey has been promoted to the position of Assistant Editor at Feed Compounder. This reflects Ryan’s growing involvement with the production of the magazine and the on-line weekly e-letter. Since joining the family business in 2017 he has taken on an ever-increasing share of the responsibility for sourcing material. editing it and preparing the layouts of features


and articles. Ryan is also a regular writer for the magazine, with his column on feed production statistics covering Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In his new position, Ryan will continue to take an increasing share of the responsibility for the content Feed Compounder magazine His growing role will also encompass taking full control of Pet Food Supplement when it comes out later in the year.


AIC Scotland Elects Robin Barron as Chair Robin Barron has been elected as chairman of Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) Scotland, succeeding Stephen Kenyon who has served since April 2017. Sarah Bell of Cefetra was elected as vice-chair. Mr Barron, who is general manager of


East of Scotland Farmers, and has served as AIC Scotland vice-chair for the past two years,


said, “As agricultural supply chain businesses await the results of post-Brexit trade negotiations, the AIC will provide essential support to members, and a strong unified voice for the industry as we move into a new trading landscape. Agricultural businesses will face significant challenges in the coming years, and I look forward to ensuring that the interests of the Agri-supply industry in Scotland are represented at this crucial time.” Ian Muirhead, AIC Scotland’s policy manager thanked Mr Kenyon


for his hard work and commitment as chairman over the past three and a half years, saying, “During his tenure, Stephen has helped to raise the profile of issues affecting AIC Scotland members. Lallemand Animal Nutrition strengthens its global monogastric team Lallemand Animal Nutrition is pleased to welcome four new colleagues to support its poultry and swine teams globally. Corinne Morvan, Aviguard product manager and poultry technical deployer Corinne will further support the business growth of this unique competitive exclusion solution for poultry as well as supporting other microbial poultry solutions at Lallemand Animal Nutrition. Morvan brings more than 20 years of experience in poultry nutrition and breeding (management,


biosecurity, and welfare). After different experiences with poultry premix and feed producers in France, Corinne joined Aviagen Turkey as a poultry nutritionist for EMEA.


Cindy Jacobs, swine technical deployer Cindy will be responsible for swine technical support in the Benelux Union; Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe; and Russia. Jacobs’ more than 20 years of experience as a swine nutritionist in relevant companies, together with her passion and customer focus, will help Lallemand Animal Nutrition reinforces the company’s presence in the swine business in those territories.


Camille Leballeur, swine technical deployer After a successful training period with Lallemand in 2019, Leballeur graduated from Ecole Supérieure d’Agriculture d’Angers (ESA) in France and completed an internship at Danone Research. Among other tasks, she will manage field trials in different European locations and will help in the development of swine liquid feed


applications for probiotic inoculants. Isalie Bénéditti, marketing coordinator for swine and poultry solutions Isalie will help coordinate global swine and poultry marketing projects and support local marketing and sales teams. Bénéditti brings expertise on topics such as building the brand image and launching a digital communication strategy. She has worked in both Europe and Australia and brings her global marketing experience to Lallemand Animal Nutrition.
