Historic trams LISBON


The historic trams are an integral part of the public network and cover many of the areas not serviced by the city’s metro. There are two distinct types of trams, the original yellow ‘Remodelado’ trams and the modern


‘Articulado’ trams. The quaint yellow trams rattle and


screech through the narrow streets and cover some of the most scenic routes in the historic city centre.
