ITINERARY


From July to August 2023, the fabulous explorer yacht SuRi will make her way down Costa Rica’s lush coastline.


The seven-night itinerary includes a stop in Isla Coiba, Panama, home to one of the largest marine parks in the world and accessible only by special permit; as well as Corcovado National Park - with a network of hiking trails across the vast rainforest. The 208-foot explorer yacht features seven staterooms, a helicopter landing, and all the aquatic toys you could dream of. This is a yacht charter for the ultimate adventurer.


Biodiversity and Pura Vida


osta Rica and Panama are countries of incredible biodiversity, vibrant, distinct indigenous communities, and a singular engineering feat: the Panama Canal. Panama’s diverse ecosystems are reflected in its astonishing terrestrial and marine biodiversity. The biomes found in Panama include tropical lowland humid forests, tropical mountain forests, tropical dry forests, freshwater wetlands, mangroves, coral reefs, and tropical islands. The Panama Canal connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the narrow Isthmus of Panama. The canal, which was completed in August 1914, is one of the two most strategic artificial waterways in the world, the other being the Suez Canal. Costa Rica is so small that it comprises only .03% of the planet’s surface but is one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. Beyond its wildlife biodiversity, Costa Rica is the land of pura vida—an expression of happiness, optimism, and living life to the fullest.
