UPFRONT OVER THE RAINBOW THE PERCENTAGE 25

Delivered in 1930, and after serving in World War II, Lady Jeanetta was taken across the Atlantic to cruise around the US. Back in the Mediterranean, she was in use as a popular floating casino, for locals keen to bypass notorious laws forbidding gambling in Athens, Greece. After a re-build in the 1990s she was chartered well and then in 2017 the current owner fell for her beautiful lines and has since undertaken further refits. OVER THE RAINBOW now looks better than ever, inside and outside. Available for charter with TWW Yachts | www.twwyachts.com

OF ALL MARINE LIFE THAT RELY ON CORAL REEFS. THEY COVER LESS THAN 1% OF THE EARTH’S SURFACE AND LESS THAN 2% OF THE OCEAN BOTTOM. CORAL PROVIDE FOOD AND INCOME FOR MILLIONS OF PEOPLE

SOUNDCORE VR P10

The Anker Soundcore VR P10 true wireless gaming earphones look nice and have clever design elements, but they’re lacking in the lows.

OCEAN SUNFISH SPOTTED IN THE MED

PEOPLE SAY THE STRANGEST THINGS

I adore strawberries, but can only eat them if every seed has been removed, you will need to remove every seed with tweezers.

OPEN TO QUESTION WE ALL HAVE

TO WEAR THEM BUT WHAT

DO YOU HATE MOST ABOUT YOUR CREW UNIFORM?

KATE BUTLING CHEF

I hate synthetic ‘quick dry’ that make crew sweat whatever the

weather and then smell forever, no matter what you wash them with. I love black cotton chef jackets.

MALGORZATA SCHEIDLE CHEF

Uniforms generally are chosen to fit boat colours and theme and not

comfort. Black uniform in Mediterranean

summer is horrific for all crew, 35°C sun - poor deck crew.

JENNIFER MONIZ CHIEF STEW

Camel toe and the unavoidable ‘veggie’ which is a wedgie but for the front. Bright neon turquoise/aqua marine colour capris. Need I say anymore, please stop this.

CYNTHIA SOPATA CAPTAIN/MATE

Hate when fabric is so light undergarments show through. Does it need saying that if female crew can’t bend over without violating decency, it’s not appropriate.

The ocean sunfish (Mola Mola) has an average life span of 10 years and can grow up to 3.5m and weighs in at over 2.5 tons. These colossal fish are noted as Vulnerable under the IUCN Red List. Mola in Latin means ‘millstone’ and describes its circular shape.
