SPA OF THE SEASON HOTEL POST
BEZAU, AUSTRIA This is no gruelling detox – in fact, the supremely efficient, week-long Body Rejuvenation retreat is an unexpected delight. As is the location: the chocolate- box-charming Hotel Post stands in the sleepy village of Bezau, it’s home to an immaculate haven of a spa – all blonde wood and scented with their delicious range of organic oils. Daily lymphatic drainage and cellophane wraps alleviate toxins and water retention. Sugar is banned. Food is flavoursome: broth, porridge and chia-seed pudding for breakfast; homemade vegetable soup with fish for lunch.

BEAUTY MYTH AGE SPOTS ARE SIMPLY A FACT OF GETTING OLDER
Fact: First, the term ‘age spot’ is really a misnomer. Brown, freckle- like skin discolourations are not a result of age; they are the result of years of unprotected sun exposure.
Sun spots can show up at any age, from the freckles sprinkled across a child’s nose to smooth, flat brown discolourations you may see as early as your mid-20s.
BRUSH STROKES This body toothbrush is one that encourages healthy habits. Brushing gently for 2 minutes, twice a day, with short, tooth-sized strokes and soft bristles you replace every 3 months. The electric brush has timed sonic vibrations and affordable brush heads delivered, not needless modes, bulky chargers, or expensive refills.

WHAT IS IT? DIRTY YOGA
What is it? I’m too busy to go to yoga classes, and also I’m embarrassed about how fat and inflexible I am. Could Dirty Yoga – an online class – be the answer?
How much does it cost? About 20 euros a month, which gets you a new daily yoga routine.
What does it promise? Barely anything, which is kind of the point. You log in, press play and copy whatever the yoga instructor happens to be doing on screen. Most videos are about 40 minutes long and, if you do them all, it’s like having a daily yoga class. If you don’t, it isn’t.
What is it actually like? In theory, Dirty Yoga is excellent: you get to take part in a number of constantly updated yoga workouts whenever you have time, without the burden of having to travel to a gym. The presentation is good – the videos are proudly no-nonsense, but functional. There’s a set schedule to stick to, or failing that, various workouts that you can just dip in and out of, including quick eight- minute blasts. Also, Dirty Yoga is something that you forcefully have to insert into your daily routine. As new discovered, when confronted with deadlines and children and all those other commitments, it’s really easy to skip the whole thing altogether.
