STAND F30 Morris to unveil new lighting tower
Addressing the demand for eco-friendly equipment, Morris Site Machinery will unveil a new lighting tower at the Show. The new prototype will be displayed alongside the most recent addition to the
SMC lighting range, the SMC SL60 Link. This 6m lighting tower can be powered from a mains supply, by another lighting tower or from a generator. A single Denyo Eventa 20 (20kVA) three-phase generator can power 24 SL60 Link’s daisy-chained together. The company will also promote a new range of welders, pictured, and
generators. The improved SMC Genpac generator range spans 6kVA to 200kVA, while the SMC Weldpac 400 is described as the first large-scale welder in the range. It has three 32A sockets delivering both three-phase and single-phase auxiliary power.
STAND J20 HAE addresses skills shortage
HAE will offer information and advice on training and qualification programmes, safety guidance documentation and terms and conditions. Its Certification Services team will be available to provide information about the SafeHire Certification and Hire Industry Trusted Supplier (HITS) schemes. The Association says
STAND C32 that a key area of focus for the industry is the ever-widening
skills gap. It will be hosting a Careers and Skills Workshop to promote hire as a career option to year 12 and 13 students. This will take place on the Wednesday of the Show, between 11am and 2pm in the Jaguar Lounge.
Prodem patch planer from BPH
BPH Attachments supplies hydraulic attachments and is the sole importer of the Prodem brand for the UK and Ireland. The new PP Patch Planer can be used on horizontal, vertical or sloped surfaces for the efficient removal of concrete or asphalt for trenching or resurfacing.
