Molson highlights latest Kobelco excavator

One of the latest additions to the Kobelco excavator product line, the SK75SR-7 compact

radius 8-tonne excavator, will be prominent on Molson Compact Equipment’s stand. It offers a 15% reduction in digging cycle time and a 37% increase in arm digging speed for improved productivity, as well as a 27.9% increase in engine output when compared with previous models. In addition, the machine’s bucket digging force has been

increased by over 14% from 52.7kN to 60.3kN for greater power when working on hard ground. Partnering this improvement in performance is a facelift both

inside the cab and out. The machine includes integrated rear and side cameras to reduce potential damage, and inside a large LCD display is incorporated.

Solutions from Bomag

Bomag’s stand will have the overall theme of Safety, Security, Service and Solutions. Under the

Safety category, the company will show four machines which have HAV ratings of below 5.0m/s2

.

These include the BT60 tamper and the BPR2540D (pictured), BVP1030 and BVP1845 plate compactors. For Security, Bomag rollers are now delivered standard with

Datatag’s Cesar Scheme identification system, which acts as a theft deterrent. The manufacturer’s Service App provides users with advice after they scan a QR code on the serial number plate, giving access to spare parts lists, technical data and operating instructions. Finally, Bomag’s Solutions include

STAND I42 Continuous Compaction Control (CCC), a three-step monitoring and management process,

and the Economizer system that displays compaction progress for consistent results.
