Rosalee stood third at UK Dairy Expo and second at the Royal Highland Show 2015, she was the best cow in the Lanarkshire herd competition and in 2013 stood first at UK Dairy Expo. Colin Laird said: “We are delighted to win SuperCow, it’s a fantastic end to a successful year for Jackie. It was a good show with a great atmosphere, this is the third Supercow title for our family, in 2009 Ann won with her Ayrshire cow, but we


haven’t won with a Holstein since Bondvale Broker Natasha in 2000.”


In the Holstein heifer championship Logan Goldsun Belle 2 from Brian, Sheila and Michael Yates stood champion, having come through as winner of the senior heifer class. Classified VG87 she calved in April and was shown giving 40kg a day. She is projected to produce 10,500kg and is due to calve in March to Silver. She stood second at Dumfries


Show and first at South West Scotland Dairy Show. Her dam is Logan Alexander Belle 2 VG89 which stood first junior three year old and best udder at UK Dairy Expo 2014. Standing reserve heifer champion was the junior heifer, Feizor Shadow T Wendy from David Booth. Calved in August at 25 months she was shown producing 37kg a day and is back in-calf to Doorman and due in August. Sired by B-Crest Shadow she is backed by three
