PF Concept announces acquisition of T Shirt & Sons

n March 2, PF Concept completed the acquisition of print-on-demand company T Shirt & Sons. T Shirt & Sons, headquartered in Westbury, with a subsidiary in Venlo, the Netherlands, is one of the largest digital printing and fulfilment companies in Europe and serves many of the largest global marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and retailers. In addition to print-on-demand services, the print specialist also manages the e-commerce shops of its retail partners and provides shipping services. Polyconcept, parent company of PF Concept, is excited about the future of this growing market and the opportunity to leverage T Shirt & Sons’ expertise in printing, service, and digital capabilities across Polyconcept’s global operations. Polyconcept will benefit from T Shirt & Sons’ vast knowledge of this segment of the print market and will continue to invest to further grow T Shirt & Sons’ market presence and capabilities.


SPIRO launches new multi-lingual website

PIRO by Result’s new multi-lingual website will now also allow customers to see technical product information in both French and German across the full SPIRO range. Customers can easily switch between the three languages by clicking on the country flags at the top of the website page. Having product information, decoration type and technical spec all available in French, German and English online will allow customers from key markets to browse more efficiently and improve their experience.


First Made in UK Day a success


he first Made in UK Day took place on Tuesday, March 9. Organised by Make it British, the day aimed to celebrate UK makers.


On Twitter, the #madeinukday trended fifth in the UK on the day and had a total reach of 3.8 million people – 25% of which were overseas.


Founder of Make it British, Kate Hills, said: “A big thank you to everyone that supported the day. It was wonderful to see so many brands and manufacturers getting involved. What was even better was hearing about all of the sale that UK makers made on the day.” Make It British, a community of UK-made brands and manufacturers, was formed on March 9, 2011. Now Made in the UK Day will become a regular event, taking place on March 9 each year.

T Shirt & Sons will continue to operate from its Westbury headquarters, and all employees will remain with the company. T Shirt & Sons’ operations including sales and marketing will remain independent,


allowing the company to continue to focus on delivering superior digital print- on-demand services. Phil Morgan, senior country manager of PF Concept UK, will assume the role of managing director T Shirt & Sons Europe. He will be responsible for leading the growth strategy across Europe and will be supported by the T Shirt & Sons existing experienced management team: commercial director Adam Golder, finance director Darren Newman and the rest of the T Shirt & Sons team.
