EpiQ - the

Quest theme park in Doha, Qatar opened multi-launch indoor coaster EpiQ, located inside the Doha Oasis, late last year.
Experiential theme park Quest is based around a three-dimensional timeline - the past, present, and future. Epiq, created by Premier Rides, is its signature attraction and is themed as a sci-fi space port. It is the world’s tallest indoor coaster, certified by Guinness World Records. Epiq has a fully integrated projection mapping tunnel to truly immerse riders
into the story. Riders experience an augmented reality and coaster experience, complete with special effects, audio/visual and show lighting and nonstop thrills, as they test drive a “revolutionary solar-driven vessel” endorsed by Spike, a fun loving, space-faring hedgehog who loves exploring the far corners of the galaxy. The launch coaster features the world’s fastest reverse launch up an awe-
inspiring, 60 metre plus twisted vertical spike, taking riders high above the rest of the park. As riders drop back down, they are launched at a heart-racing speed as they enjoy their EpiQ journey. Jim Seay, President of Premier Rides, commented: “Epiq was technically one
of the most complex rides to design due to the architectural considerations such as the massive supports for the 27,000 square metre overhead roof garden. Our technical team worked hard to ensure that the attraction was a perfect integration of dark ride and ultimate thrill ride.”

New Zamperla family coaster Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster anchors the new Peppa Pig Theme Park in Winter Haven, Florida, USA. It opened with the park on 24 February, 2022.
The experience starts with a walk through Peppa the Pig’s house. Guests then board the coaster vehicles, which are modelled after the family’s car. The park wanted more than a traditional oval-style children’s coaster, and Zamperla’s roller coaster engineering team updated and expanded its classic Family Coaster by adding a kid-sized launch to the middle of the experience, making the end result a unique attraction. Several additional technical improvements include individual lap bars,
magnetic brakes, and booster tires for the lift and launch, plus a transfer bench that easily attaches to the vehicle. Riders that require wheelchair access can slide over the bench and into their seat. “
