floor is made of the strongest wood, which easily can be used outdoors and needs little maintenance. The ceiling and central column paintings were themed with deep sea scenes, and top panels on the outside of the carousel are decorated with marine themes. Brass poles and other fine details make the carousel a fine piece of art for the kiddie area of a park.”
Scary Drop - a 130 metre freefall experience “In Capetown, South Africa, we installed the Scary Drop, a freefall tower with new light effects. The ride has a height of 34.2 metres with a 10-seat passenger unit. The ride is of particular interest as we installed it 100 metres up, on the rooftop of a five-star luxury hotel. “This type of installation requires great skill and
special organisation for its ride assembly, planned in detail together with the client beforehand. Passengers can buy tickets online and make a reservation to enjoy this unique view and the sensation of a sudden freefall, the ultimate kick. Catch your breath with this very special experience with impressive pan=oramic views at the top.”
Ferris wheel - 34m with 24 semi-closed telescopic cabins “Last but not least, we installed a new 34m wheel in Toulon, France. Here we installed a portable model on a steel base of 20 x 10m with 24 semi- closed telescopic cabins. The semi-closed cabins are equipped with a stainless steel finish and have illumination on their ceilings. Passengers are protected from cold, rain and wind, but still have a ventilated cabin offering contact with the open air, which is much appreciated. “The latest light technologies have been used for
the spokes and wheel circumference, and a high resolution LED screen was used for the ride centre. “The Ferris Wheel is portable, which means we

can place the Wheel in any spot we like - we used a steel base with counterweights and telescopic cabins to ensure safety during transit.”
Two new mobile rides “In 2022, ‘Spider’ and ‘In Control’ were introduced to two funfairs - one in Germany and the other in France. “In Control had its world premiere in Cologne,
Germany, over Easter. A park version of this ride is set to be made for Vietnam in 2023. “Both rides use sophisticated technology for their

hydraulic system, making it possible to move the arms fast up and down.”
Looking ahead “Fabbri Group has a strong portfolio for 2022, with new rides and ideas for parks in the Far East and the Middle East, and a few parks in Europe too. “Several rides are destined for Qatar, where
the World Championship Football will be held in November 2022 - a 60m Ferris Wheel, the
new Spider ride, Magic Dance, 50m Scary Drop, Booster Maxxx and Telecombat. “A new Wild Mouse Coaster with unique special
effects will be delivered to Germany with TUV approval by the end of this year. A new Midi Explorer Pendulum will be delivered to Taiwan. A Booster Maxxx will go to Australia, and a 40m Booster will be delivered to the USA. Smashing Jump and Eclipse will be delivered to Sweden.”
